The RAI is led by Professor Adam Smith, Director and Dr Daniel Rowe, Director of Academic Programmes.
We have a small but dedicated professional services team led by Katy Long, Institute Manager (full-time). The team consists of Hannah Jakobsen, Academic Programme and Events Officer (full-time) and Josh Alexander, Operations Assistant (part-time: Monday and Tuesday all day, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons), who are both based within the RAI. We are also supported by Nayomi Dep, Finance Officer in the Humanities Division Finance Shared Service, and Anouska Bedford and other team colleagues in the Humanities Division HR Shared Service, all of whom are based at the Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities and undertake work for the RAI at various points throughout the week.Â
Bethan Davies, Vere Harmsworth Librarian, also plays an important role in the administration of the RAI as the VHL librarians support us with reception and building management duties.Â
